Jean Weir, 84 of Willowick, peacefully passed away in the presence of family on March 3, 2025, after a brief illness.
She was born April 6, 1940. Her childhood in Cleveland was filled with simple pleasures shared with her 4 siblings, parents, grandmother, aunt and any other family members needing a place to stay. Picking tomatoes off the vine with salt shaker in hand, riding her bike, playing with her pets and helping her dad fix cars were just a few pleasures.
Jean graduated Collinwood High School in 1958. She was a member of the Sophisticats, who served others in her community. Her summers were filled with long days at Euclid Beach, tanning lakeside or flirting with boys to get free rides in the park. Her first job was at the Federal Reserve, where she proudly worked until her first child was born. She then dedicated her life to raise her children with a passion that never ended.
Later in life, she was employed at Buyers Products for 25 years. Jean retired from there, but not before
