Funeral Mass for Wilma J. (nee Randolph) Girgas, 74, will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. Fr. Alex Clark officiating.
Wilma passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center in Akron.
Born Nov. 18, 1950, in Carmichaels, Penn., Wilma previously lived in Mentor before moving to Akron 2.5 years ago.
Wilma was a wonderful homemaker who loved her family and her Dachshunds. She was an avid reader who enjoyed many good books.
She was the loving mother of Kenneth J. (Debra) Girgas and Maryellen P. (Tom) Hessel; cherished grandmother of Lindsey Jogan, Samantha Hessel, Madison Hessel and Morgan Hessel; aunt of Cindy Mati, Stacey Twentier and Sean Randolph.
Wilma is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Edward G. Girgas; parents, Kenneth and Ellen (nee Durr) Randolph; and brother, Will Randolph.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio F
