A memorial service for James R. Brandt of Mentor is Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 8125 Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH, with Pastor Kevin Guynn officiating.
James, age 79, of Mentor, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 9, 1945, James was a lifelong resident of Lake County, having lived in Mentor, Eastlake, and Willoughby.
James was a devoted husband to his loving wife, of 60 years, Mary Brandt (nee Roberts), for many years. He was the adored father of Jim (Lisa) Brandt and cherished grandfather to Eric Brandt, Jacob Brandt, and Sara Morse, and great-grandfather to Nia Morse.
James was preceded in death by his parents Richard W. Brandt and Emma L. Brandt (nee Bregitzer), dear brother Alan Brandt and sister Ronda Daiello.
James was employed by National ACME for 20 years and also worked for U.S. Molding in Willoughby, where his work ethic and dedication were admired by many. Outside of his professional life, he was a man of many
