Funeral Mass for Arlene R. (nee Davis) Hernan, 85, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave. Mentor.
Arlene passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
She was born on March 15, 1940 in Cleveland.
Arlene maintained life-long bonds with friends from elementary school, as well as her Alma Mater, Lourdes Academy, where she served as a class officer.
She was a dedicated associate of General Electric Nela Park for over 30 years, where she founded many close friendships.
As a young woman, Arlene overcame much adversity, working multiple jobs to raise her children. Her strength and determination remain an inspiration to many who were fortunate to know her.
She was from a close Irish/German family, and she and her children were blessed with the support of her siblings throughout her life. Her nieces and nephews, as well as her own children are carrying on the traditions of family reunions and other shared celebrations.
