Jerald Anton Sustarsic, known to all as Jerry, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family and friends.
Born on December 5, 1949, to the late Honorable Tony and Helen (Palsa) Sustarsic, Jerry was a passionate and dedicated individual throughout his life. He was a proud member of the St. Joseph High School Marching Band and had the honor of performing in the 1964 St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City. Jerry graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1968.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Geraldine (Nielsen); his son, Tony (Sara Hufnagle); daughter, Paula (Woody) Wood; sister, Judy (Rick) Malachowski; grandchildren, Jordan Wood, Eddie, Alex, Joe Wood, and Little Tony; and many cherished extended family members and friends. He shared a special bond with his cousin, Dennis (Vicki) Sustarsic, with whom he spent many Friday nights.
