Vernon Burr, born on August 17, 1936, in North Manchester, Indiana, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Madison. He was the beloved son of Kenneth and Grace Pauline (nee: Stage) Burr. Vernon dedicated his professional life to the automotive industry, working at Diamond-Reo Trucks, White Trucks and General Motors as an Automotive Designer. His contributions to the field were significant and left a lasting impact on the industry. Vernon's family was the centerpiece of his life. He is survived by his son Scott (Theresa) Burr of Madison, daughters Gerri (Robert) Cambell of Mishawaka, Indiana, Pixie Burr of Kentucky, and Lanna Roberts of Columbus.
