Nereida Rosario Padilla, a treasured soul whose zest for life touched all who knew her, passed away peacefully at her residence in Painesville, Ohio, on March 28, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on August 27, 1948, in the vibrant lands of Puerto Rico, Nereida lived a life marked by love, dedication, and creativity.
Nereida's career as an insurance approver spanned 30 years with National Benefit Life Insurance in New York, where her diligence and compassion shone through her work. Upon retirement, Nereida's artistic spirit found joy in her hobbies, which included reading, crocheting, painting rocks and ceramics, Diamond Art, coloring, and tending to her beloved flowers and vegetable plants.
Her love for her family was the core of Nereida's existence. She is survived by her adoring children, Lesley (Juan Ramirez) Rosario, Olga (Andres Gomera) Rosario, Luis (Lourdes) Rosario, Nereida "Nettie" (Edwin Pina) Rosario, and William Rosario.
